A law student has reportedly been gang-raped in Kolkata, and authorities have arrested three individuals, including a former student, in connection with the case.

 In Kolkata, three men have been arrested in connection with the alleged gang rape of a 24-year-old law student in a guard room on the law college campus. This incident took place on June 25, and the police confirmed the arrests on Friday.
The suspects have been identified as Monojit Mishra, 31, who works at the college, along with two students, Zaib Ahmed, 19, and Pramit Mukherjee, 20. According to a senior police officer, the arrests were made following a written complaint filed by the victim on June 26. The woman had visited the law college around 4 pm on Wednesday for some work when Mishra reportedly asked her to stay longer. The details surrounding the incident remain murky, but police stated that the three men allegedly forced her into a guard room on the ground floor, where the assault occurred between 7:30 pm and 10:50 pm. After the incident, the woman informed her parents, who then contacted the police for help.
